The ideal candidate must have an NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, relevant experience, and a valid UK driving licence. Mercedes Benz of Canterbury are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their workshop. Working alongside other experienced technicians, you will carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conduct vehicle services and perform any additional repairs. You will report to the Aftersales Manager, who will provide ongoing support and ensure you have the tools needed to succeed. The ideal candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience (brand or non-brand), and a full and valid UK driving licence. You’ll be self-motivated, able to support your team, ambitious and eager to learn, and able to work to and maintain the highest standards for all vehicles. Although previous brand experience is desirable, it is not essential as brand accreditation training will be provided. Diagnostic, MOT and EV experience are desirable but not essential.
