An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join a supportive workshop team of six, working Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (with a 60-minute lunch). The role is open to a wide range of skillsets — whether post-apprenticeship, MOT-only, or at senior level.

With salaries dependent on experience and a strong bonus and loyalty scheme, multiskilled MOT Technicians can realistically achieve an OTE of £50,000+.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard
• MOT testing (for those qualified)
• Diagnosing faults and undertaking remedial work efficiently
• Cam belt and clutch work (preferred but not essential)
• Supporting a collaborative workshop team of six

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• MOT licence desirable but not essential
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience with servicing, repairs and ideally cam/clutch work
• A proactive approach and commitment to delivering quality work

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: £37,500 – £45,000 DOE
• Bonus: £6,000 performance bonus + annual loyalty bonus (£750 rising yearly to £3,750 at year 5 and beyond)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (60 mins lunch)
• Holidays: 22 days + bank holidays + long service leave
• Benefits: Free onsite parking, supportive workshop environment
