Weekly Hours: 42.5 hours / Day Shifts Only. As and when required overtime is available and this is paid at time and half.

As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire.

If you are Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or a fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic, we would love to hear from you.

Northgate Vehicle Hire are the UK's leading vehicle rental specialists. Our branches cover the UK, Ireland and Spain, our workshops maintain and repair our own fleet. Within the UK we operate circa 49,000 vans and 19,000 cars, so there is a good variety of vehicles to work on. Our Runcorn site is home to Northgate Vehicle Hire and our sister companies Auxillis and Charged EV, with a total of 41 colleagues. The workshop is supported by a wealth of experience from our Workshop and Branch Managers, with a stream of work from Regional and National Key accounts and a fleet of 1,700 vehicles. You will join a team of 5 technicians to support the growth of the branch, situated in close proximity to the motorway and local supermarkets. Runcorn has a great team spirit!
