The successful candidate will ensure servicing and repairs are conducted to manufacturer standards, involved in diagnostics and warranty repairs. Our client, a Busy Franchised Dealership in Hertford has the requirement for experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their established workshop team. Vehicle Technicians – Mechanics returning to the motortrade are most welcome.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

• Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
• Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
• Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
• Mechanic Warranty Repairs
• Carry out MOT Tester to DVSA standards (If qualified)

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• 2 years Post Apprenticeship Experience
• Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements

• Class 4 MOT Licence
• Manufacturer Accreditations
• MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
