Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work and complex repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repair/replacement work on vehicles.
• Carry out complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements.
• Diagnose issues in vehicle electrics, brake systems, and steering.

Skills

Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent

Full drivers licence with no more than 9 points

Diagnostic work skills in brakes, steering/suspension, and engine

As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. You’ll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.
