Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service have an exciting vacancy for a Vehicle Technician. This role is based in the workshop at Headquarters in Stocklake, Aylesbury where we are committed to providing an excellent, modern, and agile Fire & Rescue Service for our community.
Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service serves a population of more than 800,000 in the Southeast of England. Around 400 Firefighters operate from 19 Fire Stations from the outskirts of London to the South Midlands. We employ around 100 specialist support staff, from ICT to Fire Prevention.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for the servicing, repair, and maintenance of the fleet of emergency vehicles, plant, equipment, and support vehicles that support the Fire Service.
Essential - Experience and Qualifications:
You will be required to take part in the emergency on-call rota one week out of seven, where you will initially be mentored by another team member, usually for the duration of the six‑month probation period.
