Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain relationships with clients.
  • Perform six-weekly inspections.
  • Conduct pre-MOT inspections.
  • Carry out MOT tests.
  • Perform vehicle diagnostics.

Job description

Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an Industry leading client for a Light Vehicle Technician with MOT 4/7 to work at their Alloa workshop.

THE ROLE

You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified Technician that has experience working with a variety of LGV, vehicles.

MOT certificate desired but the company will put the candidate through an MOT course if needed.

  • 6 weekly inspections
  • Pre MOT inspections
  • Carry out MOT
  • Vehicle diagnostics
Skills & Experience
  • Level 3 in Heavy Goods/ Light Vehicle Vehicle maintenance & repair or time served if over 4 years experience on Heavy Goods/Light Vehicles
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work within given time frames
  • Ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repair and servicing.
  • Diagnostics skills
THE HOURS

Monday to Friday - 07:00 - 17:00

THE RATE OF PAY

You will earn a salary of up to £38,000 dependant on experience and skill set.
