A specialized training provider in the UK seeks a Motor Vehicle Skills Assessor to coach and support vehicle mechanic apprentices. The role involves monitoring learner progress and ensuring compliance with educational standards. Candidates should have substantial experience in the vehicle mechanics field and relevant qualifications. The position is full-time and remote, with a 12-month contract.
As an Motor Vehicle Skills assessor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a vital role in the security of the nation whilst supporting the equipment used by the British Army. This includes the fleet management of over 50,000 vehicles, ranging from quad bikes and generators to main battle tanks and weapons from pistols to cannons.
Day-to-day, you’ll visit vehicle mechanic learners within their workplace using your vocational experience and knowledge to deliver learning, coach, assess and support them to achieve their apprenticeship, as well as:
This role is full time working 37 hours per week, offered on a 12-Month Fixed-Term contract and is fully remote. There is a requirement to travel to our sites in Southampton, Portsmouth, Thorney Island, Tidworth, Chichester, Aldershot, Windsor, Sandhurst, Bovington, Bulford.
