Job Description

Join the RAC as a Mobile Mechanic - Boost Contract. On our Boost Contract you will receive a guaranteed top‑tier salary, with a base of £55,625 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance) rising to £61,625 with performance bonuses. You will deliver trusted service using your own fully‑equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit from day one. Your working week will be 40 core hours (Monday‑Saturday) plus an average of seven additional hours per week, based on customer demand. As part of the Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) team you will carry out high‑quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs at customers’ homes or workplaces.

Requirements

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years fully qualified, hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician on light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and to travel with overnight stays, if necessary.
