A global engineering services provider in Basildon is seeking a Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer to establish vehicle layouts, including dimensions and mass balance. The position requires excellent project management and presentation skills, as well as a degree in engineering. Ideal candidates will have experience in vehicle program delivery and knowledge of various engineering tools. The role offers a blend of in-office and remote work, and it is confirmed as inside IR35.

We are supporting various customers worldwide in automotive electrical and electronics systems development. We are recruiting for a Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer for our UK customer.
You will be responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the dimensions; mass balance; occupant positions and accommodation and the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. You will be part of the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond.

Position is confirmed inside IR35. Successful candidates need to be eligible to work in the UK. 5 days in office with an optional 1 day remote working (In office days Mon‑Thurs).
