Vascular Nurse Specialist - Team Leader

The closing date is 15 December 2025

The post holder will work as a team member in Vascular Specialist Nursing service in conjunction with the medical team. They will have a full range of clinical and managerial support duties with a primary responsibility for providing advanced clinical care in the management of vascular patients at a ward and outpatient clinic level.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will carry continuing responsibility for a defined caseload, including the setting of standards of care, assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. The post holder will provide specialised nursing advice specific to the Specialist Vascular Nursing service and their patient group.

The post holder will contribute to the development of the speciality service as well as contributing to the strategic direction of nursing within the Trust.

The post holder will manage and lead a specialist team and be responsible for the effective use of resources within the clinical team.
