Van Trading Manager

Home-Based (with travel to offices as required)

Reporting to : Head of Van Trading

Ready to take ownership of trading performance in one of the most dynamic parts of the business? Markerstudy is looking for a Van Trading Manager who can blend commercial sharpness with data-driven thinking to help shape the future of our van proposition.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be right at the heart of the Van Trading team, supporting the Head of Van Trading to drive profitable growth and keep us ahead in an increasingly competitive market. Expect plenty of variety and a real opportunity to make your mark.

Your key responsibilities will include :
  • Developing and delivering trading strategies to optimise revenue and profitability
  • Analysing high-volume trading and performance data to spot trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • Working closely with Pricing, Insurer Relations, Distribution, Operations, Finance and more to align trading activity with wider business goals
  • Partnering with the MI team to enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and KPI tracking
  • Managing and reviewing our trading footprint to maximise return on initiatives
  • Presenting clear, compelling insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Contributing to forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modelling
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to grow the book and improve profitability

  • Supporting the Head of Van Trading across all aspects of product management
What You’ll Bring

  • Experience handling large datasets and complex information
