We are seeking a proactive, motivated, and highly skilled individual with expert knowledge of open research practices to join our Open Research team in Libraries & Museums at the University of St Andrews. This role focuses on research data management and doctoral theses, requiring experience with repositories and expertise in at least one of these areas.
The purpose of this role is to advocate for and promote Research Data Management and Theses, managing the operational aspects of the infrastructure, staff, and services that support the University’s open research culture.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our open research initiatives, emphasizing FAIR data management and open access to doctoral theses. The successful candidate will collaborate with researchers and senior academic staff to enhance research data management practices and will have the initiative to further develop our research data management and theses services.
We are looking for someone with expert knowledge of the open research environment, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving approach based on evidence.
