Work Schedule

Work shifts from 6am to 10:30pm. Minimum 3 shifts per week. We will work with your schedule.

Position Summary

Union Cafe employees will perform guest service and food preparation duties. The Union opens 7:30am-11:00pm (midnight on weekends). Employees are expected to work during at least one critical time: lunch, late night, or weekends.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude, self‑motivated, flexible, able to take direction.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Food service, catering, or retail experience helpful but not required.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs and perform prolonged standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, walking on hard surfaces.

Dress Code

Uniform: jeans, black shirt, closed‑toe shoes with socks, and hat with name‑tag. Long hair must be tied back. Studs only; no sweatpants, shorts, capris, open‑toe or heeled shoes, hoops/dangling earrings, facial piercings, necklaces, bracelets, or other jewelry.

Primary Duties

• Provide quality food and service to all customers.
• Assist management team in stocking, cleaning, and food preparation.
• Interact with customers and other team members with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Keep all stations/areas stocked and clean.
• Aid coworkers at other stations when possible.
• Maintain consistent & reliable attendance.

Secondary Duties

• Cleaning equipment and facilities as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
