AXIS’ Medical Malpractice team is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team of underwriters to continue to build on a long history of success. The role involves underwriting a wide range of medical professionals’ business, with a strong focus on delegated authority channels in both UK and Europe.
The Underwriter will act within established guidelines to market, analyse, review, evaluate and monitor new and renewal accounts of all medical malpractice business. The individual will be responsible for exercising independent judgement in the management of underwriting activities. The individual should have strong market and technical knowledge within Medical Malpractice and the ability to build and develop relationships with brokers and coverholders. Some professional lines or liability underwriting background would also be of benefit.
You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.
