Job description

We bring together engineering expertise, clever digital tools, and strong collaboration with power plant teams to catch problems before they turn into full‑scale engineering plot twists – because no one wants a turbine stealing the show with an unscheduled woe. With techniques like anomaly detection and vibration analysis, we "listen" to machines – because sometimes they grumble, rattle, or hum in ways that absolutely should not be ignored. By working closely with engineers and operators, we help keep Uniper's assets running reliably and efficiently, all while supporting the transition to a Net‑Zero future – preferably with fewer unexpected sound effects. We are Uniper. At Uniper, we are pro‑actively transforming the world of energy whilst at the same time ensuring security of energy supply. As an internationally operating company, we work in very diverse teams with the greatest possible working time flexibility for our employees. Our corporate culture is characterized by equal opportunities, mutual appreciation, and respect. With us, you will be able to develop new business models, work on technological solutions for a modern, sustainable, and future‑oriented energy supply as well as pro‑actively help to shape changes.

Responsibilities
  • You will start with projects designed to give you the opportunity to develop the skills needed to make a meaningful impact on the team.
  • You will become familiar with various power generation technology processes and assets and contribute daily to ensuring they are reliable and operating efficiently.
  • You will work independently and collaboratively to improve, simplify, and modernise existing tools, processes, and ways of working.
  • You will maintain and develop the Condition Monitoring software solutions, gaining expertise in both on‑prem and cloud architectures to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • You will use your engineering knowledge and software skills to create innovative solutions that address important engineering challenges.
  • Currently studying/working towards an analytical degree including but not limited to engineering, physics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
