A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Junior Data Manager to join their Clinical Data and Information Sciences team. This 12-month placement, starting on September 1, 2026, offers the chance to learn data management processes in a regulatory environment. Responsibilities include data review and query management while ensuring data integrity. Applicants should be completing a university degree placement as part of their studies, preferably in Health Sciences or Technology. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
Junior Data Manager
Applicants must be completing placement as part of a degree course at a UK University, either through Year in Industry/Industrial Placement or Gap Year.
Clinical Data and Information Sciences (CDIS) manages the collection of clinical trial data and prepares it for analysis to support regulatory submissions. It combines medical and scientific knowledge with IT skills including database design and system validation. CDIS is accountable for ensuring all clinical data is collected and managed to Good Clinical Practice and all associated regulations, delivering integrity on time, every time.
As part of the Clinical Data and Information Sciences group, the Junior Data Manager is accountable for timely and high‑quality data review and query management of clinical data supporting the Pfizer portfolio. The role involves executing key data management deliverables to collect, review, monitor, and ensure the integrity of clinical data.
Learning the processes of data management within a regulatory environment, opportunities to develop personal skills while working within a global, cross‑functional business environment. Includes exposure to a diverse and inclusive workplace and potential to build skills applicable within the pharmaceutical industry and beyond.
Placements will start on 1st September 2026 and will run for 12 months.
