Job summary

A leading recruitment firm seeks a UK Tax Advisor to join the Group Tax team in the UK. This role involves preparing and submitting UK corporation tax computations, supporting compliance and advisory tasks for a multinational group. The ideal candidate will have experience with corporate tax, be a fully qualified accountant or tax adviser, and possess strong analytical skills. This position offers the opportunity to engage with international tax issues and develop expertise in tax governance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing UK corporate tax computations using specialist tax software.
• Fully qualified accountant and/or tax adviser preferred.
• High levels of drive and initiative with problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit UK tax computations and returns for the group.
• Prepare UK current and deferred tax provisions.
• Assist with tax aspects of financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Conduct tax technical research and analysis.

Skills

Experience at senior associate /assistant manager grade

Tax accounting experience

Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Ability to communicate confidently at all levels

Good organisational skills

Education

Fully qualified accountant and/or tax adviser
