We have an excellent UK Sales Manager career opportunity, to join a leading End of Arm Robotics Equipment and Applications company. Our principle consultant, Robin Thomas, is looking for a talented, hungry, and ambitious UK sales manager to take responsibility for the firms UK sales operation, with the view of recruiting new team members throughout . An engineering / industrial automation, technical and sales background is essential.

Operate from your home office | recruit and build your own team in | Attractive salary

Whilst the role includes both business development and account development, the first few months will be more focused on business development, targeting OEM, integrator, End User, and Distributor business. Youll be based from a home office however, the role will include extensive UK travel for face to face meeting and to attend industry events.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the sales budget is achieved by managing and developing a high potential market
  • Understand customer needs and provide bespoke solutions
  • Oversee projects from concept to production including; identifying and qualifying specific applications, collecting client requirements, proposing a suitable solution, gaining customer approval
  • Prospecting new OEMs & other users (70%) and developing and nurturing existing OEM relationships (30%)
  • Produce a business plan and strategy with the Managing Director to grow the business as required, inline with the companys 3-5 year sales growth objective
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions and shows
  • Forge solid relationships with key decision makers and influencers in all potential sectors
  • Handle both technical and commercial enquiries from your customer base
  • Negotiate contracts and secure new business
  • Recruit, manage, and lead the UK sales team
