Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior data protection and compliance role.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and global data protection laws.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and risk management.
• Legal qualifications preferred; understanding of technology and information security essential.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet statutory deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as the UK point of contact for data protection and compliance matters.
• Drive alignment with global data protection strategy.
• Advise stakeholders on compliance queries and new legislation.
• Conduct risk assessments and vendor due diligence.
• Maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and compliance risk registers.
• Develop compliance policies and training programs.
• Monitor regulatory changes for timely updates.
• Manage data subject rights requests and reporting.
