A leading automotive retailer in Chelmsford is looking for a Tyre Technician to join their team. The role demands technical expertise in tyre repairs and fitting, alongside strong customer service and communication skills. You will be responsible for various tasks, including balancing wheels, conducting wheel alignments, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Monday to Friday 8.30am to 17.00pm. Saturdays on rota 08.00 to 12.00
Salary: Up to £36,000 OTE (Basic salary £30,000)
Who we’re looking for:
You’re already experienced in removing, repairing and fitting tyres, with the ability to diagnose tyre faults and determine whether repair or replacement is the right solution for the customer.
You’ll also have some experience of delivering great customer service and excellent time management skills, as you’ll be organising your work schedule each day
You will have previous experience gained in a similar role. You will possess excellent communication skills, and practical knowledge of computer systems. It is important that youare able towork as part of a team as well as having the ability to work independently.
You will be a people person with excellent verbal, Numerical and written communication skills. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
