Job summary

A family-run business in the automotive sector located in Nottingham is seeking a Tyre Fitter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting and repairing tyres, ensuring cleanliness in the workshop, and conducting vehicle health checks. A valid driving licence and experience in a Retail Tyre Depot are essential. Qualifications

  • Experience in fitting tyres to Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles in a Retail Tyre Depot.
  • Basic knowledge of light vehicle maintenance would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Fit any product specified by the Company to customer’s vehicles.
  • Repair and replace worn, damaged or defective tyres.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Centre and equipment.
  • Carry out Vehicle Health Checks.
  • Complete necessary paperwork per Company guidelines.

Location: Nottingham, East Midlands
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:30 & 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30 – 13:00
Salary: Basic: £27,000 OTE up to £28,000

Responsibilities
  • Fit any product specified by the Company to customer’s vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customers’ vehicles whether that be in the Depot or by the roadside.
  • Repair and replace worn, damaged or defective tyres.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure Vehicle Health Checks are carried out and customers advised accordingly.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with Company guidelines.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a full valid driving licence.
  • Experience in fitting tyres to Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicles in a Retail Tyre Depot.
  • Basic knowledge of light vehicle maintenance would be advantageous.
