A prominent educational institution is seeking a Tutor/Assessor in Carpentry to enhance its Built Environment Learning Area. This role involves assessing portfolios, fostering industry relationships, and delivering high-quality teaching. Candidates should have a Level 3 qualification in Carpentry or related fields, and ideally a teaching qualification. The institution prides itself on investing in staff welfare and offers numerous benefits including generous leave and a strong pension scheme, ensuring a supportive work environment.
Gower College Swansea is seeking a Tutor/Assessor to join the Carpentry provision within our expanding Built Environment Learning Area.
If you do not hold an assessing qualification, Gower College Swansea are proud to offer support and guidance to successful candidates to achieve their award/certificate in assessing under the TAQA qualifications framework. If you hold a D32/D33/A1 Assessor award qualification, we would love to hear from you. These are still valid and recognised qualifications, and the college can offer updated training to refresh your assessor qualification.
Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to a start date before 1st February).
