We’relooking for a finance professionalto join ourBoard of Trustees as Treasurer. This is a rewarding voluntary role where your strategic insight and financial acumen will help shape the future of our charity and strengthen our impact in the community.
You’llwork alongside our Chief Officer, Management Accountant, and fellow Trustees toprovidesound financial governance and ensure our resources are used effectively to support local people.
Helpsetappropriate budgetsand ensure our financial strategy is fit for purpose.
Review management reports.
Present financial updates at our AGM.
Help ensuring financial policies and controls meet best practice standards.
Understand financial risks and opportunities to support confident decision-making.
You’llbring a recognised accounting qualificationand/or senior finance management experience. Most importantly,you’llshare our commitment to social justice and want to use your professional skills to make a positive difference locally.
You’llbe based in or nearSouthampton, Hampshire, and able to attend around6–8 Board and Finance Committee meetings a year.
This is a voluntary role, and we are unable to sponsor applicants from abroad. You must have the right to work in the UK.
