Trust Grade (CT1/CT2 Level) Doctor in Urology/Trauma and Orthopaedics

An exciting post have become available within the Urology and Orthopaedic unit. The post holder's duties will be primarily at Grantham Hospital, Lincolnshire, but it is a condition of the appointment that the postholder will be willing to work in any of the Trust's locations or outreach District General Hospital clinics.

The appointment will be for a fixed term of 12 months in the first instance. There will be regular appraisal and assessment of progress.

Main duties of the job

This post provides opportunity to work in a busy District General Hospital. This post mirrors the responsibilities and training to that of rotation CT1/CT2 attached to the Urology & Trauma & Orthopaedics, however this is not a recognized training post and will count towards service only.

  • Registered with the GMC

  • SHO/FY2/CT1/2 or equivalent experience
  • Perform competent Basic Medical Examination
  • Evidence of progression in career
  • Previous surgery experience
  • Basic life support
  • ALS/ATLS
