A national healthcare provider in Leeds is seeking a Treatment Doctor / Surgeon to perform terminations of pregnancy every Monday. The role requires a Bachelor of Medicine and GMC registration, focusing on providing safe and compassionate care in line with reproductive rights. BPAS are looking for a Surgeon to perform terminations of pregnancy in our Leeds Clinic. This role would be every Monday.
As a treatment doctor/surgeon you will provide safe, effective and comprehensive surgical and medical terminations of pregnancy to BPAS clients.
This role is working at BPAS Leeds with the option to provide services in other areas nationally if you are able. We are looking for candidates who operate between 13+6 up to 24 weeks, with a willingness to train to higher gestations.
BPAS is an independent healthcare charity which has been advocating and caring for women and couples who decide to end a pregnancy for more than 50 years. We are the leading specialists of abortion advice and treatment in the UK, taking care of almost 80,000 women each year in over 50 clinics nationwide. Nearly all the women we see have their care paid for by the NHS.
The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is the UK's largest independent reproductive healthcare charity, providing evidence‑based, not‑for‑profit reproductive healthcare. £103,020 – £154,020 per annum (pro‑rata for part‑time hours) depending on gestational skills & experience.
