You will oversee project delivery, liaise with stakeholders, and implement improvements in Treasury operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in project management within a Treasury function and strong communication skills. This role is a full-time permanent position offering competitive rates of £600 per day.

Role overview

You will develop and deliver on a range of key Corporate Treasury projects, including development of plans, ensuring delivery against the plan, management of key stakeholders, responsibility for actioning the relevant steps, progressing improvements and reporting progress to the Finance Leadership Team (FLT). Understands the relationship between own specialism and wider customer/ organisational requirements.

The individual working in this role will be expected to work with the Treasury team and wider Finance transformation program, significantly involved in performing the actions of the relevant projects and ad hoc priorities.

Please note, experience with working with global Treasury teams is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day to Day management and delivery of Treasury projects
  • Work with Treasury team to identify and prioritise Treasury initiatives to improve ways of working
  • Development of plans with clear milestones, deliverables and accountabilities
  • Implementation of plan and tracking progress
  • Resolving bottlenecks with the right stakeholders
  • Working closely with small central Treasury team
  • Managing stakeholders, wide ranging depending on specific projects
  • Reporting progress to sponsors and FLT
  • Managing a number of Treasury related projects and working with stakeholders to prioritise deliverables
  • Performing the required actions and steps needed to progress projects to completion
  • Projects may vary in type from housekeeping/governance focused to automation improvements and Treasury cash/interest focused, bank balance reporting.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Project management of detailed and/or complex projects, specifically in a global Corporate Treasury function
  • Ability to action and deliver the required work
  • Wide range of Corporate Treasury activities
  • Analyses, diagnoses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets
  • Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives
  • Understands the relevance of own area of responsibility / specialism to the employing organization
  • Highly effectively communicator both in writing and face to face.
  • Able to adapt messaging to deliver required results in a multi-cultural, global context
  • Able to handle change and ambiguity in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong technical skills
  • Extensive experience working with Treasury functions
