About You

The Role

Reporting to our Financial Controller, this is a newly created role which will form an integral part of our Finance department. You'll be joining a dedicated team of 11 staff, and this role is perfect for a driven individual who is keen to elevate their career in financial control whilst gaining invaluable end-to-end experience within financial services. You'll already have experience of being responsible for all cash management and cash flow preparation, experience of managing banking relationships and practical working experience of using Sage Intacct (or similar account software).

  • Cash management - monitor and manage daily cash balance to ensure liquidity and compliance with internal and external banking policies
  • Responsibility for daily/weekly/monthly cash transfers in line with requirements
  • Working closely with Financial Controller and FP&A team on cash requirements and forecasting
  • Preparation of daily & monthly bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of journals into Sage Intacct.
  • Co-ordinating payments to banks and external funders
  • Cash Flow forecasting - maintain and develop short term and medium term cash flow forecasts for management and strategic planning
  • Preparation of weekly cashflow pack, and attending weekly cashflow review meeting
  • Bank and relationship management - administer bank accounts and maintain positive relationships with banking partners
  • Assistance in sourcing and maintaining Interest rate swaps
  • Treasury transformation - investigate and support project to implement a treasury management system
  • Compliance - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company treasury policies.
