Overview

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across Travel and Tourism programmes, with a strong emphasis on aviation, airline operations, and cabin crew preparation, equipping learners with the skills and knowledge required for progression into the travel and aviation sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Travel and Tourism programmes (e.g. Level 2–5, BTEC or equivalent).
  • Teach specialist units related to aviation, cabin crew roles, airline operations, customer service, and health and safety.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with awarding body and institutional requirements.
  • Support learners through tutorials, academic guidance, and pastoral support.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content reflects current practices within the travel and aviation industries.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, standardisation, and continuous professional development.
  • Engage with industry partners to support enrichment activities, employability, and progression into travel and aviation careers.
