Job description

HCRG Staffing are working with an exciting new client based across the UK, but looking for experienced and accredited Counsellors, Psychotherapists, CBT Therapists and EMDR trained Practitioners to pick up sessional work from a variety of clients across Scotland.

This work will be primarily face to face (in locations to suit you), however there is an expectation for candidates to source their own therapeutic space, whether their own private rooms or rented office space. Candidates will however have full autonomy over their diaries, working around any other work in place.

All backgrounds are welcome – there is generally a trauma focus, but there can be requirements or preferences for clinicians with various specialities or experiences, e.g. particular sexual or religious orientations, art/play/music/dance/wilderness therapy, learning difficulties, pain management, grief/bereavement, sexual/domestic violence, family and couples therapy, addiction and substance abuse, eating disorders, service veterans, prison/probation, anger management, fertility, menopause, perinatal etc.

Candidates must have the following in order to be suitable:

• Counsellors must have accreditation with either BACP, NCPS, UKCP, ACCPH or COSCA
• CBT/EMDR Therapists must have BABCP Accreditation
• Other Professionals may be considered, please advise on application.
