Job summary

A leading children's care provider in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to oversee a residential children's home. The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care and significant experience in managing residential care. This full-time position offers a salary of up to £48,000 per annum plus a bonus.

Qualifications

• Registered with Social Care Wales and DBS Update Service preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience managing a children's residential home preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the home in line with RISCA, safeguarding, and inspection frameworks.
• Manage staff recruitment, supervision, and development.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Officer.
• Oversee care planning, behaviour support, and risk management.
• Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
• Drive continuous improvement and service development.
