We're looking for a detail orientated, self-motivated Transport Planner to join our Distribution Centre in Speke. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a key operational area, which plays a vital role in keeping over 750 stores stocked and ready to serve our 4 million customers every week.

What you'll be doing

• Data collection, preparation and analysis
• Planning the transport for the B&M Network
• Load Building and route Planning using Paragon Routing Software
• Maximising planned trailer fill and cost control
• Upkeep of Master Delivery Schedules

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team of drivers
• Aware of Health and Safety requirements of working around HGVs and in a warehouse environment
• Transport Planning experience is essential
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel and Outlook)
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK
• Paragon experience is essential
