Transport Planner - £33,000

Yolk Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the construction industry, looking for a Transport Planner to join their team in Treforest. This is an exciting time to grow an expanding team.

What will the role entail:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all distribution-related queries, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of products from quarries and plants across the region.
  • Manage inbound customer calls and emails, process orders, and provide updates on distribution status.
  • Collaborate with Logistics, Commercial, and Production teams to enhance service efficiency.
  • Track orders proactively to ensure successful delivery and resolution of any issues.
What experience will you need:
  • Understanding of the construction and transport industries (preferred but not essential).
  • Proven experience in transport planning, with a strong grasp of road haulage requirements.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to high-quality service.
