Job description

We are looking for a Transport Coordinator / Operations Administrator to work for a global business. The role is office-based in Trafford Park area.

The company operates 24/7 on a 9-week shift pattern, averaging 40 hours per week. Shifts may start early or finish late, so driving is ideally required. Workload varies from three to five shifts per week.

Salary: Up to £33,000 with benefits including bonus, pension, and private medical insurance.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Scheduling Support: Conduct daily checks to prevent overweight vehicles, monitor truck utilization, and ensure shift coverage by scheduling deliveries.
  2. Night Shift Duties: Manage VMI orders, handle filing and shredding, update delivery records, and prepare correction reports for SAHQ.
  3. Reporting & Compliance: Follow procedures for left-on-boards, billing blocks, corrections, and generate ad-hoc reports.
  4. Customer & Performance: Handle calls professionally, follow call procedures, provide feedback, and attend at least one tanker delivery annually.

Previous call center experience, preferably within the transport sector, is ideal.

Other requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and excellent communication skills for voice calls.
