• Provide regular performance updates to senior management.
• Lead and support the transport team across all people management aspects.
• Manage budgets for fuel, maintenance, and overall fleet operations.
• Manage driver rotas and ensure full coverage.

Duties

• Ensuring all drivers have valid licences, vehicles are taxed and insured
• Schedule vehicle maintenance, ensuring vehicles are fit for use
• Plan and optimise delivery routes and schedules to reduce costs and mileage
• Manage accurate fleet records
• Provide regular performance updates to senior management, including financial and operational reports
• Lead and support the transport team across all aspects of people management
• Manage budgets for fuel, maintenance, and overall fleet operations
• Manage driver rotas, ensure full coverage and effective absence planning
• Oversee driver performance, including hours, safety, and debriefs
• Monitor fleet tracking and provide real-time delivery updates to the customer service team
• Other adhoc duties
