A local healthcare provider in Bristol seeks a patient transport worker to deliver and collect healthcare goods and transport patients. The role requires a full UK manual driving license and entails direct interaction with patients and staff. Applicants should be committed to safety and possess good communication skills. This position is integral to maintaining healthcare services within the organization.
To work as part of the Operational Team responsible for providing a comprehensive patient and non-patient support service in the hospital environment. Driving a range of vehicles to enable the carrying out of Transport Service functions: Delivery and collection of Healthcare related goods to external locations for the Trust; delivery and collection of Healthcare related goods within the Southmead Hospital campus; transportation of patients to home or other Healthcare establishments; transportation of staff, patients and visitors. To provide a high quality responsive, efficient and effective patient support service to wards and departments in North Bristol NHS Trust, acting in a caring and professional manner and working in line with Facilities and departmental operating procedures. A Full, Clean, UK Manual Driving license is essential for this post. To support Transport Services service level agreements, and other formal agreements / contracts, with both internal and external customers.
