Overview

We are seeking a Transport Compliance Administrator to support our client in Bristol. This is a hands-on, operational role suited to someone with previous transport industry experience, ideally an ex-driver or a driver looking to move away from driving while remaining involved in transport operations. This is not a typical office-based admin role. The successful candidate will regularly work in the yard and will be required to get in and out of vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Accident investigation and reporting
  • Managing manual vehicle download calendars
  • General transport administration duties
  • Carrying out vehicle spot checks
  • Auditing vehicle defect notes
  • TVT administration and checks
  • Liaising with the transport team and supporting daily operations
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in the transport industry
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable working in a yard environment and around HGVs
  • Willingness to travel between Hartcliffe Way and Ashton sites
Desirable
  • HGV licence (not essential)
  • Background as an HGV driver or transport operative
  • Knowledge of vehicle compliance and defect reporting
