Qualifications

With depots in Avonmouth, Cardiff, Gloucester, Stonehouse and Tewkesbury we operate predominately across the South-West of England. We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.

We are seeking an experienced Transport and Workshop Planner to join our team. You will play a key role in the smooth running of our daily operations. You’ll be responsible for scheduling plant deliveries and collections, coordinating drivers and transport resources, and planning of maintenance and repairs within our busy workshop.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience of working in transport and / or workshop planning within plant hire or a similar industry.

Hours : 7.30-5.30pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities for the job role :
  • Plan and coordinate daily transport deliveries and collections for plant equipment
  • Schedule and allocate drivers, vehicles, and trailers efficiently to meet operational and customer demands
  • Maintain accurate records using fleet and transport management systems
  • Monitor compliance with HGV and operator’s licence regulations
  • Support continuous improvement in transport efficiency and asset uptime
  • Allocate and schedule jobs to workshop personnel
  • Prioritise workshop activities based on hire requirements & utilisation levels
  • Schedule workshop activities in coordination with operations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities
