Job description

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Transport Administrator to join our client's busy logistics/transport team.

Staffline is recruiting Transport Administrator in Widnes.

The rate of pay is £13.16 per hour.

This is a full-time role working rotating day shifts and fixed night shifts.

The hours of work are:

  • Day Shifts: 6am - 2pm/2pm-10 pm
  • Night shifts: 10pm-6am
Your Time at Work

A Transport Administrator manages the administrative side of moving goods, handling paperwork, coordinating deliveries, tracking shipments, communicating with drivers/clients, ensuring compliance, and resolving issues like delays or damaged items, basically keeping the logistics flow smooth by handling records and operations for freight movement.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have strong organisational and communication skills. You will show high accuracy and attention to detail. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Applicants will have competent IT skills, including MS Office and transport management systems.

Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or administrative role is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
