The Role of Training Coordinator

The purpose is to research, prepare and produce professional e-learning training programmes for members of the insolvency and restructuring profession. We are looking for a creative, technically confident learning content producer to work with the Training Manager and course directors to produce engaging digital learning content across the organisation. This is a hands-on production role, with a significant proportion of time focused on filming, editing and post-production. You will work closely with our Technical and Development Committee members, subject matter experts and business teams to turn learning needs into high-quality video and e-learning content that is clear, engaging and effective. If your strengths sit in editing, storytelling and digital production, and you enjoy applying those skills in a learning environment, this role will suit you well.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Digital learning and e-learning
    • Design and build interactive e-learning using Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise).
    • Adapt existing learning materials into engaging digital formats.
    • Ensure content aligns with adult learning principles and accessibility best practice.
    • Design and edit PowerPoints, using company format and branding.
  • Video and multimedia production
    • Film, edit and produce professional-quality training videos and digital learning assets.
    • Manage the full production lifecycle: scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing, captioning and final delivery.
    • Apply brand, accessibility and quality standards across all content.
  • LMS, CRM and systems
    • Upload, manage and maintain learning content within the Absorb Learning Management System (LMS).
    • Work with a CRM system to manage all aspects of delegate bookings, support learning communications, learner journeys and reporting or stakeholder engagement.
    • Make bookings, create invoices and manage email queries with regards to course bookings and webinars.
    • Maintain accurate records, content version control and reporting data across systems.
Essential
  • Proven experience in video filming and editing.
  • Strong skills in video editing software (e.g. Lightworks, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Camtasia or similar).
  • Experience creating e-learning using Articulate 360.
  • Experience working with an LMS and digital learning platforms like Absorb.
  • Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI.
  • Confidence working with a CRM system (e.g. for communications, reporting or learner data).
  • Experience producing learning or instructional content.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (captions, inclusive design).
  • Basic graphic design or motion graphics skills.
  • Experience capturing and editing high-quality photographs for digital or learning content.
  • Experience working with volunteer committees.
