Training Administrator (Temporary)

Salary: Circa £24,370 - £30,462 per annum (plus benefits)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Doncaster, DN4 5NU

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working XX days per week.

What will you be doing?
  • Maintain the Training Database and Learning Management System, ensuring accurate data entry and timely updates
  • Create and manage training course records, descriptions, and availability for internal customers
  • Send attendance registers to trainers two weeks prior to course start and confirm delegate attendance upon receipt
  • Action internal and external course requests within seven days, providing progress updates
  • Book venues, trainers, and resources; issue accurate joining instructions at least two weeks before courses
  • Liaise with external training suppliers to confirm objectives, requirements, venue, delivery dates, and payment details
  • Monitor minimum attendance levels and coordinate cancellations when needed
  • Update the training database when attendance registers are returned; chase late returns and elevate if necessary
  • Manage expiry dates for First Aid and other accreditations, ensuring renewals are booked or escalated
  • Produce clear, accurate reports for stakeholders and provide data for monthly board reporting
  • Maintain records of training providers and suppliers
  • Build strong relationships with trainers and internal customers; respond to enquiries professionally
What are we looking for?
  • Experience working with databases and administrative processes (HTML experience advantageous)
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills with accurate, efficient keyboard capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self‑motivated with strong organisation and time management; able to prioritise to meet strict deadlines
  • Sound judgement and willingness to seek help appropriately
  • Confidence managing communications and building relationships across a variety of stakeholders
