Job Description:

Role: Trainee Workshop Engineer in a highly successful manufacturer of forklift trucks. Working hours: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 4pm finish. Starting salary £31,000 - £34,000. Benefits: Excellent training & full forklift fleet training, overtime at 1.5 and 2.0 rates, annual 5% bonus, commission, pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, forklift driver licence, PPE/Uniform.

Responsibilities:

• PDI, service and breakdown on materials handling machinery in the workshop.
• Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
• Work as part of a team of 20 engineers.

Qualifications:

• Service & repair experience on machines, vehicles, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment.
• Mechanical service and repair skills, ideally engine diagnostic and basic electrical skills.
• Transferable industry experience with machines, cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cleaning equipment.
