Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Flushing of infrequently used outlets.
• Conduct temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274.
• Carry out water sampling for laboratory analysis.
• Perform shower cleans and disinfections.
• Service, calibrate, and replace TMVs.
• Clean and disinfect Cold Water Storage Tanks.
• Inspect and survey CWSTs and water heaters.

Skills

Good basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 Part 2

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Excellent timekeeping

NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (desirable)

Education

NSI Commercial Buildings Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Water Hygiene Engineer to join our expanding team.

Youll be primarily based in West Sussex with occasional work further afield. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the water hygiene industry with full training mentoring and clear progression opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Flushing of infrequently used outlets.
• Conduct temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 control regimes
• Carry out water sampling for laboratory analysis
• Perform shower cleans and disinfections
• Service calibrate and replace TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves)
• Clean and disinfect Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST)
• Inspect and survey CWSTs and water heaters

Required Skills / Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent timekeeping
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 Part 2
• Ability to complete paperwork & make recommendations from Service Visits
• A keenness to progress and take on additional training
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing desirable not essential
• Be able to pass an enhanced DBS

• The salary is between 22000 & 26000 per year depending on your professional experience.
