Were a specialist recruitment business focused on creative production. Since 2019, weve worked across VFX, virtual production, spatial computing, experiential and interactive. Our clients are global film and TV production studios, creative agencies and production companies delivering high‑profile work.

As AI becomes part of the production pipeline, we place leaders and specialists who can deliver in established production environments and apply AI sensibly, based on what the work needs.

The Trainee Recruitment Consultant role

Well teach you how to do recruitment properly in a specialist, high‑value market. Youll work closely with our founder and, through a structured training plan, youll be coached on how to research, speak to candidates, qualify properly, and run a process that clients trust.

If you like learning fast, having responsibility early, and building confidence through doing the work, youll enjoy this.

What you will do
  • Learn how to develop excellent market mapping skills to seek out the right people for each role
  • Approach candidates confidently by phone, LinkedIn and email
  • Learn how to attract candidates by understanding what matters to them, not by selling noise
  • Run first‑stage conversations and assess fit clearly
  • Support the full process from shortlist through interview to offer
  • Build influencing and negotiation skills, including handling objections and guiding decisions
  • Keep candidates and clients updated with clear communication and strong follow‑through
  • Use tools to speed up research and admin while learning the judgement that makes recruitment work

Skills and experience we’re looking for

We’re open on background for this exciting Trainee Recruitment Consultant role, but you should have evidence of at least one of these

  • Lettings or estate agency experience
    • Appointment setting
    • Lead generation
    • Telesales, telemarketing, SDR or BDR experience
  • B2B sales or phone‑based customer acquisition
    • Fundraising, membership sales, or anything outbound where you had to persuade and follow up
  • Hospitality or service roles can work if you can show pace, resilience, and strong communication

You’ll also need

  • Comfortable making outbound calls and starting conversations
  • Confidence handling objections and staying professional
  • Good organisational skills and well planned
  • Clear written communication for short outreach messages and candidate updates
  • Basic tech competence with LinkedIn, email, calendars, spreadsheets, and learning a CRM
  • Discretion and common sense with confidential information

Useful, not essential

  • Any recruitment exposure
  • Experience negotiating, even if informal, for example renewals, upgrades, retention, or resolving complaints
