Job description

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Projects Administrator, based from our Leeds office, to join our CLC team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone starting their career in construction or project delivery. You'll support Project Managers and Site Supervisors with scheduling, documentation, resident communication and project reporting, helping to keep our programmes running smoothly and efficiently. This role offers hands-on development and a clear pathway into a Trainee Contracts Manager role. What You'll Deliver As a Trainee Projects Administrator, you will help with:

  • Updating project and client systems, trackers and spreadsheets
  • Scheduling and rebooking appointments with residents or site teams
  • Supporting communication between residents, supervisors and operatives
  • Producing basic reports and progress updates
  • Preparing documents such as letters, appointment confirmations and work packs
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
  • Maintaining accurate records for planned works, retrofit projects or compliance activities
  • Assisting with data entry, document control and general project administration
  • Supporting quality, safety and compliance processes
  • Providing general administrative support to Project Managers and Site Supervisors
    A Trainee Project Support requires:
  • Capable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience in customer service, administration, scheduling or call handling - Preferred
  • Knowledge of construction, maintenance, retrofit or building services - Preferred
  • Strong communication skills and confident phone manner
  • Good organisation and time-management
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Full UK driving licence - preferred
  • DBS check required
