A leading care provider in Walsall is seeking a Trainee Nursing Assistant to embody kindness and ensure residents' care planning arrangements. You will assist in administering medications, wound care, and other clinical tasks under nurse supervision. The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care and a background in leadership. This role offers a competitive salary and full-time hours.
As a Trainee Nursing Assistant at HC-One, you will be a role model, embodying kindness in every aspect of your work in our Memory Care, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will help ensure residents’ care planning arrangements are delivered impeccably, support residents’ choice and independence, and keep resident wellbeing at the forefront whether you’re assisting with a nursing task delegated to you, reporting an accident, or spending time with someone showing dementia symptoms.
This is a new Trainee Nursing Assistant role created to upskill Senior Care Assistants and develop them to take on responsibilities similar to a Nursing Assistant. The role will assist in tasks such as administering medicines, wound care, catheter care and other direct clinical tasks under the supervision and guidance of a qualified nurse. A salary increase is provided upon successful completion of the development program.
