Are you looking to kickstart a rewarding career in high-precision engineering? Our client, a leading manufacturer within the aerospace sector, is seeking a Trainee NDT Inspector to join their Assembly team at their Glasgow facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, an interest in engineering or quality control, and a desire to develop specialist skills. You'll receive full training across key Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, working towards achieving Level 2 NDT certification in line with NAS410/EN4179 aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out inspections using approved NDT methods
  • Interpret and evaluate results against established codes, standards, and specifications
  • Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain clear records
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and customer requirements
  • Support continuous improvement while promoting a strong safety and quality culture
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain calibration and care of NDT equipment
What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in engineering or quality assurance
  • Good problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to technical instructions and work to high standards
  • Previous experience within engineering or manufacturing is beneficial but not essential
