A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a Trainee High Intensity Therapist in Rotherham and Doncaster. This full-time role involves providing High Intensity CBT interventions while attending a training program at the University of Sheffield. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative individual to join RDASH Talking Therapies. We have 2 positions available, 1 with NHS Doncaster Talking Therapies and 1 with NHS Rotherham Talking Therapies.
As a trainee High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist you will gain the opportunity to learn and work alongside a team highly skilled and diverse therapists.
Please note that this is not a remote only post and you will be required to have face-to‑face clinics.
In this role, you will provide High Intensity CBT interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training which commences in March 2026 in collaboration with the University of Sheffield. The post is full time 37.5 hours.
This training post will equip you to deliver a range of evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions to clients with a range of common mental health problems in primary care.
You will be required to attend taught and self‑study days provided by the University two days a week. The remaining 3 days of the week you will work at either the Doncaster Talking Therapies or Rotherham service (1 post for Doncaster and 1 for Rotherham).
On successful completion of the course you will be expected to work towards and maintain full accreditation with the BABCP.
This role is fixed term for 12 months, which will become a permanent band 7 High intensity CBT post on successful completion of the course.
