Trainee Gates and Barriers Engineer – Location: Slough

Salary: £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Are you hands-on, practical, and eager to learn a skilled trade? We're looking for a motivated Trainee Gates and Barriers Engineer to join our growing team. You\'ll receive full training from experienced engineers and gain all the skills you need to become a fully qualified professional in this specialist field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, servicing, and repair of automated gates, barriers, and access control systems.
• Work alongside senior engineers to learn fault finding and diagnostics.
• Help ensure all work is carried out to industry safety standards.
• Use electrical tools and testing equipment safely and correctly.
• Keep accurate job notes and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Attend training sessions to build your technical knowledge.

What We're Looking For
