Job summary

A reputable education and training organization in Manchester is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Trainee Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for either A level school leavers or strong graduates in relevant fields. The successful candidates will receive hands-on experience in accounting, professional study support and a flexible starting salary up to £30k. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, requiring applicants to live within a commutable range of the company’s Lymm headquarters.

Qualifications

My client is a highly successful and expanding group of Engineering Services SME's based at its HO in Lymm, Cheshire. This is a fabulous Trainee Accountant career opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic young professional to gain a broad base of Accountancy experience plus professional study support operating in this extremely positive working culture. My client is open-minded to offer this opportunity to either a high potential school leaver with good A level grades in relevant subjects including Maths/Economics/Business Studies, or alternatively a strong graduate with a similar relevant degree such as Business and Finance or Accountancy. You will either be seeking your first career role or perhaps already have a couple of years relevant Accountancy work experience and now selectively looking to progress with a company able to offer better training, experience and longer term career progression. This role will be based full-time (Monday-Friday 9-5) operating, ambitious to qualify as an Accountant and achieve strong career progression going forward. Strong IT/PC skills, particularly Excel. Salary & Benefits

Salary package: The starting salary is flexible depending on your current level of education/experience; as a guide, a range up to a maximum £30k starting salary level. In addition, my client will provide paid-for professional exams training support. Benefits will include 25 days plus 8 days statutory holidays plus company Pension scheme.
